Exceptions include business related information and certain publicly available information such as business address, name, title and fax. Where an individual uses his or her home contact information as business contact information as well, we consider that the contact information provided is business contact information.

The Discovering Strengths Toolkit typically collects and uses information to accomplish the following:

  • Fulfill requests for programs and resources
  • Collect feedback and input on the resources we produce

  • Find people that are interested in pilot testing, reviewing or writing our resources

Our website is operated by Discovering Strengths for the benefit of those who wish to use the resources we produce, or support our organization. Our public site is free for use by individual web users,  however access to some documents and services in our Member's area requires registration. After our pilot testing phase there will be a charge for access to our Member content and partner programs.

All personal information such as e-mail addresses and financial information, collected on the Discovering Strengths website is knowingly and specifically supplied to us by the website user.

For website users under 18, please be sure to obtain your parent's or guardian's permission before you send any information about yourself (your name, address, e-mail address, etc.) to us or anyone else over the Internet. We encourage parents to get involved with their children's online usage and to be aware of the activities in which they are participating.
